Taylor Swift, full Taylor Alison Swift. American singer/songwriter who's had great fame with the stories she tells of her young heartbreak. Her material expressed Swift's feelings about tweens and the feeling of alienation. Swift was just thirteen when her parents made the decision to dispose of their Pennsylvania farm to relocate to Hendersonville Tennessee. She could dedicate all her energy to approaching the country music labels that were based in Nashville.
